PRICING

What my services cost and how I get paid

I believe we should be open and honest about how we charge for services. Up until the point of making a recommendation that meets your needs and objectives, there are no charges to you. Before proceeding with any recommendation, all fees including all initial and ongoing charges will be disclosed to you. Our charges range from 1% to 3% of the value of the monies being invested or transferred. This is dependent on the amount and complexity of the situation.

However, there are some areas that we are able to receive a commission from the provider and that are products such as mortgages and protection insurance i.e. term life insurance.

In both cases you are effectively paying for advice. Either by paying a fee, or by purchasing a costlier product that gives the financial adviser commission.

In short, the fee breakdown follows. More complete examples are provided further below.

TIER CHARGE

Advice fees can be paid as a percentage fee, fixed fee or hourly fee.

Minimum £1500, based on the assets to be invested (or to pay on an hourly basis the minimum fee is Â£1500). Advice fees can be paid as a percentage fee, fixed fee or hourly fee.)

Examples below:-

Advice fees can be paid as a percentage fee, fixed fee or hourly fee.

Percentage fee: This is the most common way that clients pay for advice, this is based on a percentage of the money you want managed or given advice on.

Fixed fee: This is a fee that is charged each time you go meet with your adviser. This could be one off advice or more complex planning needs. Fixed fee work is more aligned to a one-off piece of work without any ongoing advice needs. An invoice will be issued.

Hourly Rate: Your adviser can charge on an hourly basis if this is more suitable. Hourly charges can range between £75 and £300 per hour.

  • Annual Ongoing Charge: 1% of assets invested

  • Review meeting fee - included in the 1% Annual Ongoing Charge (AOC). This includes any changes to funds required.

As part of the ongoing servicing and monitoring of your portfolio, you will receive at least one annual review. This is a chance to review your circumstances and your portfolio to make sure you remain on track to achieve your objectives. Any changes that need to be made within your existing portfolio can be made inclusive of this charge.
